'I have a background in graphic design and event management and it has been refreshing to bring those skills to the unit'
I am responsible for social media, photography and media as well as joining the teams in field on storm or flood jobs.
I joined SES to help the community, learn new skills and meet new friends.
Comradery, learning new skills and having the ability to choose the path you want to take within the service.
Learning to work with a variety of different people in different circumstances among many course related skills.
Volunteering with NSW SES is a very rewarding and exciting experience. It's a good way to meet new people and learn new skills which can help you in everyday life as well. There are also many opportunities so you can pick and choose the path you want to take within the service.
